The Italians among Whatstrendys readers know for sureFicarra and Picone!

The duo, active since 1993 came to Toronto for the festival to present their film Andiamo a quel paese, in several Canadian theaters.

The two comedians of Palermo during their press conference they joked about their first experience overseas, their friendship jokingly emphasizing the total lack of trust and respect towards each other and telling several anecdotes about their new film, accompanied by the mayor the city where the film was shooter, the city of Rosolini in Sicily.
Later the conference was followed by a buffet offered by the Institute of Italian culture, where I got a chance to chat with the actors , to take a picture with them and get autographes!
Two actors very simple and of course funny! It has been a pleasure to know them.

Here are some video of the conference!

The Gala Opening was a beautiful ceremony with a red carpet, concerts, ballets and an Italian buffet of excellent quality!

Here’s my outfit for the gala opening, a little white dress, simple but with a detail on the back made from a golden necklace with a hanging heart!
After the buffet there was a live band, then a futuristic ballet on the lake, while the outdoor buffet offered sweets of all kinds from tiramisu to the cannoli!

An opportunity to promote the Italian cinema but also the typical culinary culture of the beautiful country!
