Canada not only offers breathtaking landscapes and a purely pacifist culture but also new musical talents such as the band Half Moon Run.
It is a Canadian indie rock group from Montreal.
The group is renowned for their use of percussion and multiple instruments during their performances.
Listening to a radio station from Toronto I overheard their last song Sun leads on and since that time I promised myself to introduce them to you.
Their debut album, Dark Eyes, was made in 2012, co-produced with Daniel Lagacé and NYGEL Asselin. They toured in Europe, Australia and North America.
They also played at South by Southwest, Osheaga, Canadian Music Week and Glastonbury Festival in 2013, and have been support groups for different artists such as Of Monsters and Men, Metric, Patrick Watson, City and Colour and Mumford & Sons.
On 24 July 2015, the band announced an EU and UK tour in London, Paris, Dublin, Bristol, Manchester, Leeds, Glasgow, Nottingham, Brussels, Cologne, Amsterdam and Berlin.
